Illuminum — Taking inspiration from a bold, geometric pioneer

Inspired by the work of iconic artist Kazimir Malevich, the 20th century master of using geometric elements in his work, we created packaging for Illuminum’s Core and Limited Edition ranges.
The external rigid box is magnetically connected, opening in a playful and revealing way transforming from three dimensions into two.
The materials used included glass and an engineered ceramic lid for the core range. A solid, untreated copper lid is used for limited edition, that will naturally tarnish over time — playing on the concept of transformation.
